The internet probably thinks i'm a young spoiled punk who has lots of friends, an utterly expensive wardrobe, and likes music and football. With being an ambassador for the university, I have to have social media networks to interact with prospective students. In addition to these accounts I have my personal accounts as well. On my ambassador accounts its filled with high schooler's, so I dont have much information to relay there. On my personal accounts, I have a vast majority of followers. Most to all people on these networks I know on a friendly basis or are friends of friends. But there are still some people that I just don't know. On Instagram I am open to let anyone follow me and with a simple hashtag you can get thousands to come across your account by just a simple key term.
I think its kind of scary that people can know where i'm at and who i'm with just by looking at my photos. So this past week, I logged out of all my personal accounts and don't plan on logging back in. Social media has gotten out of hand for me. Im better off without it.
Lastly, I think its pretty creepy that when I look for sneakers on Ebay, it will come up to the left of my Facebook feed saying "Still looking for those Yeezy Boost 350" followed by a picture. Its scary to know that everything you put on the internet is embedded and is there forever!

FITSZN :Facebook Stats
Posts:
I tried to post at the minimum of 2 times per week if not everyday. Depending upon time of the day played a key factor in reaching my audience. Looking back I wish I had tagged more people early on,
Post Reach:
I started out of the gate hot! But slowly began to come to a halt. Getting the feel for it was pretty simple but keeping up with the times my users would be most intrigued was the hardest part.
Goals & Cross Promotion:
I believe cross promotion is where I had my key success, having a lot of friends on my normal FB page helped very much. Instagram was a huge success as well. I feel like Instagram broadens it even more to have other pages shout you out. My biggest goal was to engage with people enough to were they wanted to message me and I feel like I succeeded to a certain extent.
Self Evaluation & Critique:
All in all, I felt like I accomplished my goal to get my story out and engage others and motivate them in taking the initial step in the weight loss process. What worked was the meal preps! Everyone loves food and everyone loves food that looks good. I did a pretty good job at making the healthy food look appetizing for usually non healthy eaters. I also showcased on motivating and creating a "judgement free zone." Looking back I wish I had posted more towards the end. Its hard running a Facebook page about fitness based on your body because it can only run if you do (Literally).
Audience:
My audience had a significant toll on my success I had to reach people with the same goals as me without trying to sell them a weight loss overnight program for $39.95.I took to the younger crowd, as they are typically more interested in fitness than a 45 year old.

Equitable Business Frankfurt/Chicago
I did my research on equitable business in Chicago and Frankfurt. The two cities are very different but have a few similarities.
International financial institutions play an important role in promoting investments in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and other environmental-friendly measures via special credit lines and direct funding. Our Sustainable Energy Finance Competence Centre therefore supports and advises banks in building up successful business segments to finance energy efficiency and renewable energy investments. We offer assistance during the entire investment cycle: from project identification, appraisal and implementation through operation and monitoring, to evaluation of investment measures and financial impact.
Our expertise is as wide as it is strong - we cover projects and investments of all varieties and sizes. Our fields of activity range from renewable energy and energy efficiency finance to carbon finance and REDD. We offer support services during all phases of project design and implementation. Besides market and feasibility studies, we support financial institutions in strategy and loan product development, capacity building, marketing, as well as adaptation of procedures, systems and reporting tools. Furthermore, we provide solutions for energy savings calculations and advise investors in sustainable energy investment measures.
Frankfurt, which calls itself “Green City Frankfurt,” took the leading spot for a number of factors. It has reduced its CO2 emissions by 15 percent since 1990 and it has the largest German city forest (one-third of the city) and extensive green belt. Frankfurt is also working towards 100 percent renewable energy sources by 2050. What’s more, 15 percent of commuters in Frankfurt travel to work on a bike, and the city is very compact and walking-friendly. On the “Profit” front Frankfurt has been able to achieve all of this while increasing its economic power and office space within the city at the same time.

Chicago Goals: The Chicago Innovation Exchange, the innovation campus at the University of Chicago, was launched. Housing a business incubator, a $20 million seed investment fund, and programming for entrepreneurs, the CIE will work to commercialize research ideas and support entrepreneurship on the South Side. Additionally, the CIE will partner with the Chicago Department of Public Health on a program aimed at finding innovative approaches to public health challenges using interdisciplinary teams of University researchers and students and non-health data from CDPH. Looking ahead, the CIE will launch a shared office space that includes the Argonne National Laboratory, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, and Marine Biological Laboratory, creating the first ever location for these research institutions in Chicago to be together under one roof.Sources I used;

Automatic Attitudinal Response
I actually appreciated doing these OTM posts. For me it was an escape from the local news that broadcasts political bullshit, why its 90 degrees in St. George in the middle of October, and other junk I rather not hear. Yes, there were some I thought were downright boring but I was more informed then before I tuned in. My opinions have been pretty steady but at one point there was a sway. I chose these two posts because it showcased my true automatic attitudinal responses.
Playboy: Well, well, well. My automatic response was good luck playboy, you've been exploiting women for over 40 years how can you expect to change without serious repercussions. When I should be more accepting to the fact that they are even trying to make a change.
9/11 Post: I remember when I wrote this! I remember the goosebumps it gave me while listening to the story.I was passionate about this OTM post because I personally was there to witness the tragedy on live TV. I remember being so young and innocent.
All in all, I felt I formed an opinion on what I wanted to. If that makes sense. More subjects I could relate to and my passion was deeper I gave a better view of my point. I enjoyed them.

OTM: Playboy Covers Up
I think its a genius marketing move by Playboy and I cant wait to see how they execute it. Will it plunge and backfire on them? Or can they make a statement and ditch the true slutty appeal?
Physical: Playboy will now stop producing full nude photos on its physical copies of Playboy magazine. They have been doing this for years on in and have made millions of this process, sex just isn't selling like it used to.
Psychological: I love it because this is expressing a different side of Playboy. Can they still sell magazines if women are shown off for having stunning looks, and are classy or is it about how big your boobs are?Its an interesting change for me to see!
Social: Playboy was that dirty magazine that we all talked about was wrong but had one under our bed type of deal. Its interesting to see the different conversation thats going to be talked about now with this change, its still playboy so well just wait and see.
Temporal: Playboy has been a hot topic for years. Sex sells, fantasies sell, so its a different approach but they can quite possibly pull this off.
Cultural: I think they are directing this to a class change more than a cultural change. They want the girls to look more appealing in a classier light probably so more men who like the sophisticated look can buy in.

Climate Change 1.0
Social impacting climate? You may not think they are even relatively close but in fact they are, unlike older times social media plays a key role in this. If EDF officials and community leaders took to this outlet it would make it widespread for everyone to see. Have more of a connection with online users and what they can do to help fight climate change and stop emissions and pollution.

Religion 3.0
I feel like religion and social media have joined forces, in doing so has caused a conflict. Messages like, "like this or you don't love Jesus" Many religions have gone mobile you can now follow your favorite church or leader for daily bible quotes.
Im trying to find the logic in this, but I cant seem to. I rather let people find god in their own light and not shove it down a users throat.

Wow.. This makes me feel really unsafe. Even typing this makes me feel unsafe. Someone can just take everything you worked hard for over the years. I couldn't imagine this happening to me especially with all my school work.
Physical: Hackers have gotten terribly smart, and are attacking the government, universities, and just plain ol people. People are always watching you, even online..
Psychological: These hackers are smart! You can outsmart them but its nearly impossible. They are workers for someone who owns a business. It is a big business.
Cultural: In the U.S. there is not known of a actual business but somewhere in Russia there is a marketplace, like a cubical of hackers doing this to thousands of people.
Social: The hackers are outsmarting you from your email like spam. They are young people just like me and my peers that do this to manipulate people and take there hard earned money.
Temporal: With technology advancing, older people will become more prey. Younger people aren't as prone to just click and sign up for random sites anymore. This is prevalent and needs to be stopped, but who can do that?

Privacy 2.0
Trader or Hero? Security or Privacy?
I love it! Either way you look at it, it is a contradiction. He is a hero in my eyes because, he took the liberty and courage to exploit the government to the American people. His intentions were good but his execution could have been a little better.I understand where the government is coming from, there main task is to keep Americans safe, but does that mean watch us 24/7?
Snowden is a good person deep down, he did the right thing. He did what was morally right. But as a devout user of the internet we must be more cautious when handing over information. What ever you put on the internet is fair game and will be there forever, deleted or not. We need to realize that we are signing over our right to privacy on the internet when using certain sites, and programs.
As technology grows and advances I urge you to please take precaution before diving in the realms of the internet and handing over your online consent to privacy.
I love the picture I put beneath this because it stresses the qualities of American people that they are taking for our "security"

OTM: Pope Not A Politician
Physical: The pope came to America to meet his followers and speak.
Psychological: I feel as if we put this burden on his shoulders. We view him this way, he doesn't come off as a politician. Never has he exploited his side or views on politics. He just wants to be the Pope.
Social: He is a well known public figure, and he should be treated as such.
Cultural: In American culture we buy into what politicans say, this is why they get elected. The pope has a cultural aspect to follow with his followers and not only that he stepped out of his comfort zone and accepted everyone.
Temporal: This was in a great timely fashion, we nit pic every public figure when in reality we should leave them alone and let them say what they need to say. Not take it out of context and make a story up of it. Do your research!

Democracy 2.0
A great way to start my rant is to get the word "bullshit" out of my system! Politics is just that, bullshit! No matter how much we stay informed as a whole we will never know the undivided truths of these candidates. Some of these candidates are great people but are just not fit enough to run a country, but that doesn't matter, its popularity and money, that's what buys presidents. I just love the definition of democracy,a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives. But is it still this? Or is it just what the governemnt is telling us to buy into. We the people make all the decsions for this country but do we really? or is it just a defined group in the politicans pockets that control whats really going on. I just want to know...

OTM: MEME SUCKERS
As someone who uses the internet all the time, memes have taken over. Whether on Facebook or Instagram, you see them everywhere. Are we really judging people off of a picture with a few idiotic words over top of it? It hits a large audience and without proper knowledge you can fall into this trap as well. These memes are ridiculous and are taken out of context and given a whole new false meaning. Immigration has been the recent topic of memes with false meaning behind them. Stop dehumanizing these refuges and get a life!
Physical: People are cropping images and making refuges look bad and dehumanizing the're true character.
Psychological: It makes people think differently about the topic, in this case refugees.
Social- These images are shared all over social media and people depict what they want from it, from taking it in the wrong context to actually understanding that its complete BS.
Cultural- It plays a huge part in a cultural aspect because these are people from different countries, not just people but refugees. There is so much more to a story behind one picture.
Temporal- Refugees have an affect on the world, because it is a trending topic right now in world news.

Learning 2.0
This certainly wasn't the most interesting topic, but since I am a member of higher education I thought it would be fit to talk about it. I believe education is important and in today's society without it you wont amount to much. It is a lot easier to learn in this generation with this magical tool called the "internet". You can gain so much access and knowledge with the internet and collectively become a student "online" without even entering a classroom setting.
My position: Education is super empowering, and I challenge everyone to get some form of education whether it be high school, trade school, or a university. I've learned a a lot of valuable skills in schools, but I've also learned a lot of useless items as well. All in all, I believe school should be an can be impacted more to help kids connect.

OTM: 9/11 Museum
I remember when 9/11 happened, I was in the 1st grade frantic as I saw the second tower fall on national television. I didn't quite grasp how big of a deal it was until I got older. I took it as more of a movie type of feel, I knew something bad had happened but it just didn't feel real. As I got older I realized the severity of the issue.
For me having a museum to revisit the history of the carnage, gives a sense of closure. If I had family involved in the devastating attack I would love to visit and pay my respects. Hell, I want to visit now just to see how America has built itself back up. I love how Gladstone makes you visualize the museum and gives you a feel for it .
Physical- The museum was built where the towers fell, and opened 10 years later to the public.
Physiological- The museum plays a huge role in memorializing the lives lost in the attack, and also giving closure to those who witnessed, or family's that were effected.
Social- 9/11 was so powerful, and it brought are country together for the first time in a long time. This is the feeling you get when you enter the 9/11 museum, Togetherness.
Cultural- Culture is a touchy topic. Muslims were discriminated against after the attack. We needed to ALL be together as one after such a huge attack on American soil.
Temporal- 10 years after the attack, the museum was opened and it gave people different opportunities to look at it. Some where upset it even opened, others wanted more knowledge, and some just wanted closure for their loved ones.

Ashley Madison Mayhem
Ashley Madison, a website designed to help married people preform adultery, was breached by hackers in an attempt to collect personal information, including credit card info, names, and emails. They succeeded breaching over 30 million users. The hackers threatened to leak all information unless the website was shut down immediately. The hackers called the impact team kept good on their promise by sending out threatening emails to users demanding payment or they would share information to the spouse.
Government officials, and other very important figures were also caught red handed using the disturbing site. What makes it even more intriguing is the websites female population is only 8%. Of the 8% the IP addresses were tracked and they were the same! These "females" on the websites were actually just bots to get men to pay to engage in erotic messages. Gladstone again cracks the code!
Physical: The physical harm is a broken home due to infidelity, as well as identity theft due to leaked information.
Psychological: Being paranoid about your information being in someone else's hands. Trust issues from your partner.
Cultural: From a cultural standpoint, its every race partaking not just a particular race.
Social: If you sign up for this type of website, your social relationship with your partner must not be good. You want to feel socially accepted and feel good about yourself.
Temporal: These men and "women" want to feel a spark away from their partner, and feel a sense of power.

Racsim 2.0
I personally liked this video because it forced you to look at all angles of the issue. It's loaded with historical facts, and rulings. It also made me take a deep look in the mirror and view my own self, being young black man in the midst of all this madness takes a toll on you, and makes it realize how much more frieghting things really are, you're one police siren away from being the next CNN story.
As for the relationship of social media, and racism, I feel like social media influences racsim both positively, and negatively, but at the same time sheds a global light on racsim. In these times you can watch a video on facebook that captalizes racsim and people will still comment derogatory messages. Its sad but a very true reality. Welcome to America in 2015.

Roanoke Shooting
I wanted to focus my attention on the opening story of the show, the shooting of the two Roanoke,Virginia reporters. A brief summary of the shooting for those of you who are out of the loop, the suspect, Vester Flanagan also known as Bryce Williams on air was fired from the WDJTV station some time ago. It is said that the "boiling point" for Flanagan was the shooting in South Carolina last month killing 9 African Americans. Last week Flanagan showed up to a live broadcast, not only shooting and killing Alison Parker and Adam Ward but uploading it to Facebook. He later fled the scene, taking his own life after police chased him down I-66.
Gladstone sympathized very much and even used rhetorical questions, asking if video games, or even social media were to blame. She then makes a valid point stating social media is for everyone and at this time this is how we get our news, especially as of lately the latest police brutality news. I love when Gladstone says "Lunatics have cameras, luckily the rest of us to do" now let that resonate for a second. We cant always stop the action of the crime depending on its severity, but we can use our footage in the court of law, and help in defense.
I personally side with Brooke Gladstone on this topic because she was passionate and detailed with her statements. I like how she viewed opposing angles and abruptly stopped them with a stern "NO". For example she said "is it video games?" Of course not, millions of kids play shooting games every year and don't go out and commit crimes, especially of this severity.
Physical: Vester Flanagan shot and killed 2 former co-workers of the WDJTV news station on live TV
Psychological: Flanagan set out to do this crime. This wasn't a spur of the moment killing. He had interior motives behind this.
Cultural: From a cultural aspect, Flanagan reported he was discriminated against, and it was brought to a head with the South Carolina church killings last month. This was definitely a factor of race.
Social: I personally feel that for someone to do this type of crime you have to hate in your heart. Its very apparent he felt as if he was not socially accepted in his workplace.
Temporal: Vester Flanagan wanted to feel power, and by his definition of power was killing these innocent people on live TV. He wanted to "get back" at Caucasians for the police brutality to African Americans, South Carolina shooting, and loosing his job for discriminatory reasons.
